Review

67 year old Gary Wright should be a legend, he formed The Spooky Tooth in the 70´s and wrote the classic "Better by you, better than me" which was recorded by Judas Priest. Gary also has had huge hits with the songs "Dream weaver" and "Love is alive", plus wrote the Soundtrack song "Hold on to your vision" to Stallone´s Cobra. He recently toured with Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band and Ringo is even playing drums on Gary´s new album "Connected" on the new single "Satisfied" that also features Joe Walsh (Eagles) on guitar. This is Gary´s first pop/rock album in over 20 years since the brilliant "Who I am" from 1988 featuring Terry Bozzio on drums.

Soundwise, the new album "Connected" is a super strong westcoast album in the same vein as Michael McDonald, Billy Ocean and Steve Winwood. The production is crystal clear and especially the bass sound is awesome, Gary is singing like a god and I have nothing to complain on. Absolutely faultless and wonderful!
