Review

Delaney Gibson released her debut "The worst kind of way" in 2008 with songs featured in MTV´s The Real World, as a vocalist she has backed musical legends such as Barbra Streisand, Barry Manilow and Andre Bocelli in concert. This year she deliver her 2nd album "Hurricanes and forget me nots" that is real nice singer/songwriter album with a mix of acoustic pop, country and rock. Her music bring thoughts to Jewel and Sheryl Crow, I really like the rock approach of the album more than the country vibes. Pop songs like "La di da", "Mexico" and "Better version of you" are very good but I also like the duet with Joshua Bartholomew on the ballad "Rain or shine". Positive music indeed.

Did you know that?

Keith Moon passed out on a The Who show in the early 70´s but the band asked if there was anyone in the audience who could play drums. A fan came up on stage to replace Moon and the band could finish the setlist for the night.
