Review

Tonight Alive is an Australian band that in 2016 released their third album, Limitless. Unlike its predecessors The Other Side (2013) and What Are You So Scared Of (2011), this is clearly less punk–pop oriented and sound more mature. This might not always be a positive thing, but in this case I think that the band delivers their strongest record to date. Really like their epic pop/rock that makes me think of bands like Paramore and Against the Current with catchy melodies and an awesome singer Jenna McDougall. Tracks like the big sounding “Everywhere” which oddly enough is not released as a single is of the highest class and shows that the band has some huge potential. Even "Drive" and "Waves" are really good pop/rock where the monster producer David Bendeth have given them a very fat and suitable production.
Shall I be a little critical; the records feel as a whole is a little too "simple". Would have liked a little more depth and edge, but know that the band went in to write a very positive album so they knew exactly what they were doing in the studio.
