At the age of 18, Timmy placed 10th on the Surfer Poll for people´s choice of "Most Favorite Surfer" in the world, the only person to place in the top 10 that wasn’t on the world tour at the time. From there, things were looking up. In Timmy’s second year on the CT Tour, he was ranked 6th in the world. From then on, he has continued to be apart of the CT, traveling the world, and placing at some of the most recognizable surf events around. Timmy finished off the 2004 CT Tour Schedule with an amazing 7th place finish at the Pipeline Masters. Timmy Curran is a regular in the Surfing industry known Internationally for his unique style and big air trademarked maneuvers. In 2002 he was the 3rd most exposed Surfer according to Transworld Surf. Timmy has been apart of the surf community and continues to give back to it as well. Each year, Timmy hosts his annual, Grombie Cromie, a surf event to benefit the future of surfing. When Timmy’s not surfing, he enjoys photography, shaping surfboards, as well as producing records and performing in a band of his own with some friends.
