Long Island, NYs A Farewell Fire are no strangers to working hard to get their name out in the vast rock community. Since the release of their debut album The Thin Line Between, theyve played throughout the Northeast, took second place in the Long Island Music Festival and made it to the finals for Bodogs Battle of the Bands. AFF had their song Brace featured in the national commercial for Fat Man Running which aired on MTV2, Cartoon Network, and Comedy Central.
In 2007, AFF released their second effort Burden of the Blame to rave reviews in Good Times, Revolver and other respected music magazines. This album opens a new chapter in the life of the band propelling them to a national level, surging ahead of the vast sea of NY/LI rock counterparts. Garnering attention from an array of major labels and sharing the stage w/ Puddle Of Mudd, Nonpoint & Bret Michaels, paves A Farewell Fire their own road to rock stardom.
