The truth is you should not trust biographies. Especially about musicians.
We write songs about hundreds of places and people. The least we can do is try to write our own stories.
I´m a 24-year old songwriter. I live in Chicago by way of Louisville, Kentucky by birth in southern Indiana. We are all born with talents, and some of us are lucky enough to discover these skills and learn to use them. I´ve used my guitar and my voice as a good excuse to travel the country, meet new people and call many different places home. Many of the people I call my friends are the same people that I listen to on the radio.
I have fallen in love in four airports. I am both an early morning and a late night person. Today, my three favorite records are Michael Jackson´s "Off the Wall", Counting Crows´ "August and Everything After" and Bob Dylan´s "Highway 61 Revisited."
I hope to live in California one day, just so I can say that I did. "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is my favorite song in the history of musical notes. Mondays are my favorite days because I enjoy having a whole week in front of me.
If I could be anything, I would be wise. If I could be anywhere, I would be on a stage. If I could be anyone, I would be me.
I recently finished a new record called Heartsteady. You will learn a lot more about me if you listen to the songs.
