After forming in 2001, Big City Rock quickly put together a strong set and began to make a scene in Los Angeles, California. Four years later, with a handful of pop songs that belong on heavy radio rotation, a sound that could fill up a stadium, and a live show that commands attention, Big City Rock is preparing for huge success. In late 2002 Big City Rock began playing supporting slots in the largest Los Angeles venues, including sold out shows with Phantom Planet and Rooney among others. These supporting shows helped to build Big City Rock?s fanbase and create a buzz which allowed Big City Rock to launch their second EP and headline their first sold-out show in June 2003. A West Coast tour of sold-out dates with J Records band Maroon 5 followed in the fall of 2003. Throughout the next year, Big City Rock built a substantial following on the West Coast and became known for consistently selling-out their own headlining shows. Big City Rock enters the studio with co-producers Adam Schlesinger and Brian Malouf in March 2005 to record their debut album for Atlantic Record
