The LA based band Radford release a great debut album back in 2000 with killer tunes like "Closer to myself" and "Dont stop", but had a hard time on their label RCA with people that left, etc.
But now theyre back, or I should say he, cause this time has Jonny "Radford" Mead done most of the work on the album by himself, including producing, playing and of course writing.
I had the oppertunity to talk with this very kind guy by email and below is the questions and answers of the past and what is to come.

It has been a busy couple of years for the guys in RAINS and things just keep getting better. Nationwide air play of their singles "Liar" and "Look In My Eyes" has helped them become household names and recently a small stint on the Share The Welt Tour turned into a full tour where they have been sharing the stage with All That Remains, Hatebreed and Five Finger Death Punch. Lead singer, Jeff Rains called me up on a recent day off to let us know how the tour has been going and what the band has in store for 2012. |

Hailing from Athens (Georgia), this southern singer/songwriter´s 7th solo release titled "Now It´s Tomorrow" is a bit more rootsy, funky faced Rock than his previous album "Rich Someday from two years ago. He wrote most of the songs himself together with his good friend guitarplayer Davis Causey, produced it together with Gerry Hansen and i have to honestly admit this masterpiece has the sound, musicianship, lyrics and songs to make it as my favorite album of the year this far ! If you´re not familiar with his work in the past you should be ashamed of yourself, imagine the best of Marc Cohn and Josh Kelley combined together and you know what he serves in your plate. I asked Randall a few questions about his work in recent history with Steve Winwood and Roger Glover, here´s what he had to say ..... |

Released – Live & Unsigned is a Swedish rock contest where the winner will get the chance to play on Sweden Rock Festival and also record an Ep in In Flames studio. The first gig is on the 24th of September where Wasted Shells, Scandal Circus, Massdistraction and Stone Antica will rock the sh*t out of in Lund. Sorry if this is in Swedish, but it's a great way to learn it or beg a lot and I will translate it! |
