Europe's Uk Tour Starts Tomorrow

EUROPE, Sweden's biggest hard rock band starts their nationwide 9-date UK tour on Thursday February 18th at the Leeds O2 Academy.
Following the band's critically acclaimed 2009 studio album 'Last Look at Eden', a triumphant headline appearance at Bloodstock Festival and a sold-out Classic Rock Magazine Awards gig in London last November, "Europe" are about to rock UK audiences around the country. Their new single, 'New Love In Town', released earlier this month as a digital download, is currently playlisted on BBC Radio 2.
Europe's February 2010 UK Tour Dates as follows - Leeds O2 Academy (Feb 18), Birmingham O2 Academy (Feb 19), London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (Feb 20), Oxford O2 Academy (Feb 22), Bournemouth O2 Academy (Feb 23), Bristol O2 Academy (Feb 24), Manchester Academy 2 (Feb 26), Newcastle O2 Academy (Feb 27), Glasgow O2 ABC (Feb 28).

Fightstar formed in late 2003 after Alex Westaway and Charlie Simpson, former Busted frontman, met at a party in Simpson´s London home. Following an impromptu jam session, Westaway and Simpson decided to form a band. After a few songs had been written, the band recruited bassist Dan Haigh, a school friend of guitarist Alex Westaway and drummer Omar Abidi.
