The three surviving members of Pink Floyd— Roger Waters, David Gilmour, and Nick Mason — reunited last night for a rare on-stage collaboration duringWaters’ The Wall Live show at London’s O2 Arena. Many thanks to the fan footage below of Gilmour and Waters performing “Comfortably Numb;” Mason would later join them for “Outside the Wall.” (For closer footage, click here)
The reunion, at least between Waters and Gilmour, has been expected since last summer when the two performed together at a benefit concert for the Hoping Foundation. Gilmour promised to join Waters for one of his Wall shows if he participated in the charity show.
“How could I refuse such an offer?” wrote Waters on hisFacebook page. Indeed! Earlier this week, it was announced that Pink Floyd and EMI are teaming up for a massive reissues series. More details on that here.
