The Duke Spirit release brand new single 'Glorious' TODAY as a follow up to their critically acclaimed album 'Bruiser'.
The song was produced by the band in London prior to their current U.S. dates with Jane's Addiction and subsequent headline shows, the fiery new track was mixed by Catherine Marks (PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, Interpol) at the legendary 'Assault & Battery' Studio.
"Relentless drums and guitar remind us of the irreversible force of nature guiding an exotic bloom into flower.
The song is all honey and heat", says singer Liela Moss.
The accompanying video was conceived by cult Sheffield street artist Kid Acne. Directed by fellow artist and co-conspirator Dscreet, the film features excerpts from Kid Acne's Stabby Women film series.
Kid Acne began painting graffiti at the age of twelve inspired by its infinite scale, colour and immediacy.
The man himself continues to paint epic slogans in wheatpastes and rap-sprays from New York to Azerbaijan and he still has acne.
The Duke Spirit's U.S. Tour continues throughout June culminating in a highly-anticipated return to NYC with a performance at the Highland Ballroom on June 16th.
IT is rumored that Vocalist/bassist Tyson Jay Ritter was born April 24, 1984 at a Van Halen concert, and after he came out, he was wrapped in a t-shirt for the band.
