Abandoned Pools has signed with Universal. They?re currently searching for a producer and expect to begin work soon. The band will mostly likely be recording here in LA. The CD should come out in the Spring of 2005.
The Cure´s original name was Easy Cure, which was taken from the name of one of the group´s early songs. The name was later shortened to The Cure because frontman Robert Smith felt the name was too American and "too hippyish".
