The new version will include two songs that appeared only on cassette and CD editions of the album, as well as "Twisted Heart," an outtake that first appeared on the 1996 box set, Sex - America - Cheap Trick. The album also features a cover of the Motors? "Dancin? The Night Away."
Next Position Please peaked at Number 61 on the Billboard Top 200 when it was first released.
It was Cheap Trick?s second album with bassist Jon Brant, who replaced original member Tom Petersson in 1980. Petersson returned to the group in 1988.
