Cheap Trick Re-Releases Classic Albums With Bonus Tracks

Cheap Trick plans a third album reissue for March 7th, but this one will be online only. The same day that expanded reissues of Dream Police and All Shook Up come out, the group will re-release 1983?s Next Position Please through digital download services such as iTunes. The new version will include two songs that appeared only on cassette and CD editions of the album, as well as "Twisted Heart," an outtake that first appeared on the 1996 box set, Sex - America - Cheap Trick. The album also features a cover of the Motors? "Dancin? The Night Away."

Next Position Please peaked at Number 61 on the Billboard Top 200 when it was first released.

It was Cheap Trick?s second album with bassist Jon Brant, who replaced original member Tom Petersson in 1980. Petersson returned to the group in 1988.
