Not only do we get a new studio album from Petra but also a 2 disc DVD set with a documentary about the band plus a recent live recorded concert in Tennessee, the band managed to pull out the same stage design that they used on the Beat the system tour i 1985. Awesome! And I´m really happy to see the band so vital and sounding so good even if it was more than 25 years ago they performed together. This is my favorite christian rock band but I confess that I prefer the Schlitt era over these Volz songs but that doesn´t mean I don´t like this early era, this concert shows that they were and still are a great band and Volz´s voice is in fine shape too. Just listen to "Clean" or "Adonai" where he nails his high pitch just perfect. And from what I´ve heard, there will be a brand new studio album coming out in 2012.
Ronnie James Dio left Rainbow because Blackmore wanted the band to go into a more radio friendly direction, Graham Bonnet replaced Dio on the following "Down to earth" that included the Top 10 hits "All night long" and "Since you´ve been gone".
