Review

No, it's not the Danish cyclist who launched a career as a singer / songwriter. This is the Dutchman John Sigmond - a new acquaintance to me, but it turns out that this is his third album and if I should try to explain his style of music I should day a mix of Ryan Adams, Elbow, Arcade Fire, Bright Eyes and Mogwai... Blaudzun is not really up there among the greatest, but he has some sympathetic tunes, writes solid, slick songs with a lot of gloom and create a coo mood with its string arrangements.

Tracklisting 1. Flame On My Head
2. Elephants
3. Heavy Flowers
4. Le Chant Des Cigales
5. We Both Know
6. Solar
7. Who Took The Wheel
8. Monday
9. Le Chant Des Vagues
10. Sunday Punch
11. Another Ghost Rocket
12. Elephants (Nocturne)

Did you know that?

Ill Nino frontman Christian Muchado was originally a roadie for Soulfly before forming Ill Nino.
