Junes Picture Show from Memphis-based Ingram Hill, 2004 was one of that year's most exciting albums. With a mix of Country, Pop and Modern Rock did they did find their own combination that was just the right time, but unfortunately not find the charts as much as I thought. After that, the band has continued to deliver good album, but not of the same caliber as the debut.
The band is back with their fifth studio album, and unfortunately I have to say that it is their weakest so far. However, it is far from bad, but unfortunately, the band has moved towards a more pure Country sound, which does not feel particularly exciting. Can understand that the band want to try this as this genre is huge in their homeland, but for me they fall into a lot of pop-country bands where they do not stand out at all.
Ok record, but listen to a couple of tracks before you buy it unless you’re a Country fan!
