Review

We're gonna add some old review from the old days when Melodic.net when the site was called Midwestern Skies. So please enjoy. This review is from 1999...

Vinny Burns is the axeman from Dare and Ten, and here is his first soloalbum. An album with vocals by ex- Ya Ya leadvocalist Sam Blue. It’s standard-esque bombastic ”Ten” – AOR, and if you have their CD’s in your collection you can safely buy this one as well. Nothing new under the sun at all. No revolution in songwriting or production. Still good and solid with a few exceptions in songs like ”Superstar” which is just a boring nonsense rock”n”roll AOR.

Did you know that?

Fightstar´s first EP was heavily influenced by the author Chuck Palahniuk, with the band naming a song after him ("Palahniuk´s Laughter") and including a drawing of Edward Norton´s character in the film adaptation of the Palahniuk book Fight Club.
