Review

Further Seems Forever is one of the most popular bands on the christian modern rock scene today and they've worked hard for it the last 15 years. Their latest album that was released a couple of months back is a good album without that extra that I need to remember the album in 5 years time. Solid songwriting. Solid performed and a good frontman in Chris Carabba. Still - I want to see the band to dare taking a new step on the ladder and deliver a smash next time where they dare to be more progressive in their sound and don't just hide behind well written songs and a well produced sound. If they do that - and I know they have a potential for it - it will be a killer album as the band sits on all ingredients for it.

Did you know that?

Pink Floyd´s "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is dedicated to the band´s former leader Syd Barret. Syd used to be the leader...until his schizophrenia and the LSD started to catch up with him, and he became rather insane. The band called David Gilmour, who had given Syd guitar lessons during high shool, and would cover for Syd during concerts, correcting his mistakes and filling in when he started playing along to a different tune. Syd eventually got more and more distanced of the band and David got to be the lead guitarist, but lots of the insanity themes they sing about is related to their former bandmate.
