Review

In the world of Autumn rocking bands with Atomic Opera
and King?s X as the leaders,we also find this nice
quartet with the excellent name EARTH TO ANDY among
the other two moody acts!

A sad thing though is that after a good debut (Chronicle kings-99) and an EP they have now split up.
But as the final thing to do Earth to Andy releases
this new and last album "Sticks the landing" through
their website,it contains 15 songs in the same good
song quality as the debut and the only thing to comment
as a minor good thing is the sound which is a self
financed home studio project.

But since the songs are really nice and have a cool
style like a mix of King?s X,Atomic Opera meeting
Riverdogs.....I won?t let the poor sound quality take
this album down to a bad rating,no no no!

"Lies and alibis","Still belong to me" and "Never
be cold" could?ve been taken from any of the latest
King?s X releases,lovely axework from Tony Lopacinski.

When they slow down,I come to think of Rob Lamothe
and Riverdogs but without Rob because Andy in ETA has
a more raspy voice,"Star racer" and "Whisper" are 2
most enjoyable tracks.
They also show a more modern
rock/powerpop style to their sound with "Calling (What did you do)","2 beautiful sisters","Stay" and "Down" that echoes
out Enuff?z?nuff quite a lot and who could be happier
than me about that.....gorgeous harmonies.

Autumn Rock, girls and boys....is what this is!
