Review

Distance from Orlando,Florida plays in the same league of riff and chorusbased modern rockbands like Cold,Revis and Hoobastank.
Their debut "8 miles to empty" may not have the same strong songs as the bands I mentioned but they aren?t far behind either.........this 13 track album should?ve contained 10 tracks instead coz there are a few fillers at the end of the record but the first half of the album is really great with adrenalinrockers like the opening title track "8 miles....","Meaningless" and "Role play".
But the real highlight of the album is track no:4 "Who we are" which Revis couldn?t have done better.....this one will be added to our melodic.net radio right away.......amazing tune!!!!!
A strong effort that falls a bit at the end of the album and that?s a shame,I also must add that this is not a reunion of the AOR band Distance with singer Robert Hart that made "Under the one sky" in 89.

Did you know that?

Love Hate was a melodic hard rock/AOR band before changing direction on the sensational debut "Blackout in the red room"
