Review

This is a real surprise cause when you look at the sleeve you think it will be a boring "The Corrs" sort of album, but when you put on the CD - the music that comes out the stereo is very well produced modern AOR-poprock. Somewhere between Avril Lavigne sort of modern rock mixed with a little more mature edge ala Point Of Grace. The three sister Ross combine their vocals so the harmonies are really great. And so is the songwriting. There are a bunch of great refrains on this album like the opening "Heaven Open Your Eyes", second out "Take A Ride" with a great fat guitar driving us to the refrain that is a lovely AOR sort of refrain with tremendous harmony vocals, fourth out "Evidence" that also shows their great way of being. And there are more on here on the same level. And so is the production. A wet dream for all you modern aor rockers out there.

Cor Jan?s opinion
If you look at the cover of the cd you would have expected a poppy girl group or something like the Corrs, but how wrong I was.
This is a new super female poprock group. These three sisters-Amber, Sarah and Julia Ross-are great singers and remind me of the popgroup Sugababes, but their music is melodic poprock that blows the
Sugababes totally away!
The production is in the good hands of Dan Needham (Stacie Orrico, Steven Curtis Chapman) and Kevan Cyka (Lifehouse,Gin Blossoms, R.E.M, Hillary Duff).
Among the highlights, which are to numerous to mention, are ?Heaven open your eyes? and ?Save me? and the beautiful ballad ?Angels cry?.
Many potential hitsingles are to be found on this cd. Lyrically they are inspired by their Christian faith. They are committed in helping the less fortunate and that?s why they make trips to central and south America which also inspired them in writing their songs.
This cd is highly recommendable to all you melodic rock lovers. Get it!

Did you know that?

"Bohemian Rhapsody" was the only song written by Freddie Mercury to reach the top of the charts in ‘75 & again in ‘91 after his death.
