Review

The first album in 15 years with Halford reuniting in Judas Priest will hit the stores this week,"Angel of retribution" is a step back to the sound with albums like "Screaming for vengeance" and "Defenders of the faith".
There are a few really good songs on this new album like the metal machine of an opening track called "Judas rising",the single "Revolution",the calm "Eulogy" and the 13 minute long majestic "Loch Ness".
But there are also a few fillers that feels a long way from being classic Priest tunes such as "Deal with the devil","Wheels of fire" and "Demonizer".
The fast "Hellrider" has a cool chorus and I?m really glad that Tipton and Downing decided on writing less fast songs on the new album coz there were too many upspeeded metal tracks during the Ripper era (Halford?s replacement).
However the laid back "Worth fighting for" is a dreadful song and should?ve been lifted off "A.O.R",this is a quite good JP
album that will satisfy many fans but it?s not a new "British steel" or "Stained class".

Did you know that?

Radiohead – originally known as "On a Friday", the band was given two weeks after signing to Parlophone to change their name. The band renamed themselves after the 1986 Talking Heads song "Radio Head" on the album True Stories, claiming it as the "least annoying song" from the album.
