I got a tip from my good friend Mag to check out the new album from Destroy The Runner, but before that I needed to listen to their debut album first so I knew how this band sounded like earlier. "Saints" is the both the first and last album to feature vocalist Kyle Setter, he´s been replaced by Chad Ackerman on the new album "I, Lucifer" which was released on April 15th. This 2006 album is a real nice metalcore affair of razorsharp riffs and melodic choruses, they´re tight and truly knows how to explode into great riffing. There´s nothing unique about this album except that it sounds so fxxking good played real loud. "Aleph" is my favorite here, I definitely think fans of Bullet For My Valentine should check out this album.
rumours has it that Steve Perry wanted to sing in Wild Horses, the band featuring Brian Robertson and Jimmy Bain but they wanted to handle the lead vocals themselves.
