Take one spoon of old traditional powertriorock from the 70´s, one spoon of stonerrock and one spoon of classic grunge a´la Seattle and you´re quite near the sound of Cold Dead Hands. The first time I listened to this EP I thought it was not that good but I gave it a few more listens and I must say it grows for each listen. Just listen to the rocker -"Golden Goose". It´s a great tune. But there are two not that good songs out of 5 and that take down the grading to "only good" - but keep an eye on these guys. I can imagine what they can do with a fullength later on. Remember where you read it first.
