The world is not only about Simple Plan, Hawk Nelson and Fall Out Boy when it comes to pop punk - Springfield based A Day Away does it just as good because their debut "Touch me, tease me, take me for granted" from 2006 is filled with singalong tunes and party starters that should be in every pop punk fan“s iPod.
A Day Away is Jake Turner - Vocals, Kevin Gates - Guitar, Blake Duncan - Guitar, Cory LaVallee - Bass, and Tommy Oerding - Drums, the band came into existence in early 2005, self released an EP and quickly built a local fan base.
The Japanese version of the 2006 album contains the bonus track "That girl", the band recently released their second full length "Here we go again" so there you have 2 albums to check out in the same time.
