Review

6 long years for a new Howie Day album, his million selling major label debut "Stop all the world now" from 2003 was the start of many problems for Howie because his growing bank account was also a big invite to the world of drugs and alcohol. After a year in rehab, he started working on his new album in 2006 and 3 years later, it´s finished. Howie collaborated with Kevin Griffin (Better than ezra), Jay Clifford (Jump, Little children) and others on "Sound the alarm" which is a fresh start of something new for Howie Day. The "Be there" EP showed a healthy man with a positive perspective of life and I´m glad all 3 tracks are included on this full length album, my personal favorite is "Everyone loves to love a lie" that was posted earlier this winter on his myspace page. This is a wonderful song that belongs on every future Howie Day collection. Other great and strong cornerstones for this album are "Weightless", "Postcard from Mars" and "Be there" - so please Howie, stay away from drugs and rehab and do what you do best, Music!

Did you know that?

Andy Warhol was the mystery artist who designed the Rolling Stone’s “Sticky Fingers” album art.
