Review

I know that most of you readers here at Melodic.Net are fans of modern rock, AOR and tougher stuff than that, but I also know that some of you read my reviews of country and alt country and this is a disc I must recommend to you. Because this is happy and cool party country goes to the sound of let’s say The Mavericks. This is music you can’t sit still for. But there is also another side where the band deliver beautiful ballads like “Nobody Told You About The Love” where the lead vocalist Matt Hillyer shows what a great singer he is. The production is really good and this is an album I warmly recommend.

Tracklisting 1. Texas Afternoon
2. Every Time I Get Close To You
3. Nobody Told You About the Love
4. Whose Heart Are You Breaking Tonight
5. I Never Crossed Your Mine
6. Don't Stop the Music
7. V-8 Ford Boogie
8. I'll Be Here for You
9. Fallin' Off the Wagon
10. Ten To Life
11. You Can't Hide From Your Heart
12. Rocket 88

Did you know that?

Before Brian Howes (also wellknown producer for Hinder, Skillet & Daughtry) formed Closure, he fronted the influential group DDT which blended punk, ska and rap.
