This man doesn't need to think about what he eats for breakfast. Some people live in the shadows behind the big names and Vince Melamed is certainly one such guy. How many of you readers have heard of his name before? Just as I thought ... Not so many. If I have to say that the guy has had six million-selling songs, played with artists such as Glen Frey, Don Henley, Bobby Womack, David Bowie, Bob Dylan and The Eagles just to name a few. He has written songs for Trisha Yearwood & Don Henley (Walk Away Joe), Timothy B. Schmit, Ty Herndon, Restless Heart and Tina Turner and many more ... Impressive. Now Vince has done a record with some of his own songs that he had previously given away to other artists. "Walk Away Joe" and Ty Herndon "What Matters Most" are two examples. Musically, it's a nice CD implemented. Vince is not a singer in the same class as those sung in his songs, but who can be compared to Don Henley? It is a record that is definitely worth checking out, the song material is purely amazing.
