Review

My partner in crime here at melodic.net, Juha, sent me this CD from Oklahoma based rockers Bad Things just because he didn´t know what to write. Well, I listened to it at work today and I must say it brought many laughters. If all heavy metal CDs were destroyed and a copy of Bad Things album was the only remaining CD left on earth, I would rather listen to silence instead. It´s perfect music to drive your annoying neighbors crazy, I wonder if the drummer is playing the same songs as the others since he cannot catch up with the tempo of the songs. They make Bad News sound like Queen, all must have gone terribly wrong from the very first moment they formed the band. Did they really plan on playing rocknroll? I think they should be comedians instead, we´ve just got a new meaning to the word crappy. Oh my.

BAD THINGS is a good bandname with other words Kaj?

Did you know that?

Sahaj of RA held the record for longest single note, for a male vocalist, in a song, having held a high B for 24 seconds. He was overtaken by Jan Werner Danielsen of Norway with 28 seconds in his live version of Nella Fantasia. This record breaker can be heard on Ra´s live album, Raw, on the track "Skorn". Sahaj Ticotin overtook the previous record of 20.2 seconds which was held by Morten Harket, the lead singer of a-ha, in the song, "Summer Moved On".
