Review

If an album got the title "Your Sparkling Death Cometh" it must be really cool. Falling Up's latest album, which is also their first independently, is that you can suspect a really interesting, but also different musical experience. It sounds very far from their early records "Crashings" and "Dawn Escapes" where the sound was much more hit-oriented and accessible. You will not find a single song here that would work on radio, BUT the album is, nevertheless, their strongest and most interesting so far in their career.

Both "Circadian" and "The Wonder" builds up really nicely with a cool atmospheric sound that makes me think of Pink Ployd and Yes. A bit different than expected, but it sure works and think that the band have something here.

We also got couple of more tracks in the same caliber and have to say that "Your Sparkling Death Comet" is close to reach up to a classical level to me. But it contains a handful of more “standard” tracks that is just really good so have to say that it’s “just” a great record. Check out if you’re into progressive and atmospheric Modern Rock!

Did you know that?

Ted Nugent was widely known for his record long shows in the 70´s and one time he did 2 three hour long shows on the same day in Paris.
