Review

New Jersey based The Air I Breathe truly has an explosive sound of downtuned metal/hardcore with melodic choruses, they are a tight band and pull off some riff strong tracks but they are hardly unique. It´s hard to seperate them from a lot of other bands in this genre I´m afraid, the 3rd track "Deliverance" features the strongest chorus and the best riffs on the album. Fans of this genre will probably dig this album a lot and like I said, they aren´t bad. It´s a solid piece of work but it´s not the first time we heard this kinda band. Finally I want to point out the massive riff in the 9th track "XIII", that´s the best part of this band.

Tracklisting 1. The Inevitable
2. Take This To Heart
3. Deliverance
4. Desolate and Disowned
5. For What It's Worth
6. Vultures
7. The Life They Promised
8. Here's To Letting Go
9. Xlll
10. The Awakening
