My name is Bobby Salvatore Amaru III. I´m originally from Charleston, SC. I´m going to say that again because that´s pretty important. I am originally from Charleston, SC. Mostly because this is where I learned the phrase "Fuck it! I´ll do what I want." (right before I learned "Hey! Watch this! - a redneck´s last words). Because it isn´t worth shit if it isn´t original and different. (Note: South Carolina is also where I learned to pee on trees).

I am a solo artist (solo artist: n. a ridiculously talented musician who is of egotistical assholeness). I didn´t mean to become a solo artist. It just kind of happened one night at a hurricane party ´05 in Jacksonville, Florida. All we had was candles, friends, alcohol, guitars and voices. We had to entertain ourselves somehow. I had the guitar, so I did some Poison covers and everyone loved it!

I have been playing music (drums, piano, guitar, my lap) my entire life. Throughout my music career I have signed to Elektra records in 2001 at age 17, Bieler Bros in 2003 at age 20, worked with producers Steve Thompson (Guns ´N´ Roses, Blues Traveler, Korn) and Bob Marlette (Saliva, Seether, Shinedown). I currently play drums for Jacksonville, FL-based band Burn Season. I have produced demos and albums for area musicians, toured with various national bands, and am currently in the studio working with long time friend Sam Rivers of Limp Bizkit and Musical Genius Stan Martell on my solo project.

Writing is my getaway. I believe that if you write a song that sinks in to someone, then you´ve won! Those are the songs that last forever. And hopefully, one day, I´ll do this for you.
