Hi People. My name is Amalie Bruun and I am a Danish singer, songwriter and pianist. My debut album hit stores in Denmark in September 2006 with 11 songs written and co-produced by me.

I started composing the songs on this album in 2001, but at that time I never intended for them to be released on a CD. It was really just me and the piano and some emotions I had to set free.

During my school time I played the songs with other musicians, in different band constellations and I started recording some of the material.

After a couple of recording sessions I began to like the thought of sharing my music with the world. So in 2006 I contacted the record company Kick Music and they agreed to help me get my debutalbum out. Since then I have been promoting my album and playing concerts with my band. I would if I could (my debut single) is one of my fav. songs! The track you hear on this page is recorded, co-produced, mixed & mastered by Chris Wulf in march 2007. I was thrilled to work with my band in the studio instead of just maschines and keyboards. I have Morten Mandel on bass, Morten Jespersen on drums, Thomas St..tt on guitars and me on the giant, amazing Steinway piano and obviously the lead vocal! Backing vocals are preformed by the talented Sidsel Storm and Tarek Sidki.
