Ben Moody is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist, and is best known as the lead guitarist and co-founder of the multi-platinum Grammy Award winning rock band Evanescence from 1998 to October 2003. Since leaving Evanescence, Moody has collaborated with an array of performers, both vocally and as a writer.
Beginning in 2004, Moody began collaborating with a variety of artists, working in multiple disciplines. Releases include Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, The Punisher soundtrack, The Fantastic Four Soundtrack, Anastasia, Daughtry, Godhead, Mitch Allen, Celine Dion, and Halestorm.
In April 2006, Moody began working on the debut album of Billings, Montana singer-songwriter Hana Pestle. He co-produced and co-wrote alongside Michael "Fish" Herring, and contributed vocals and instrumentals to the album.
Shortly after, Ben Moody released a limited run of "Mutiny: BOOTLEG" followed by his long awaited solo album "All For This". Moody then reunited with former Evanescence members John LeCompt and Rocky Grey, seasoned bass player Marty O´Brien, and American Idol finalist Carly Smithson to form the powerhouse We Are The Fallen. We Are The Fallen released their debut album "Tear The World Down" in 2010.
Ben Moody is currently co-writing with a bevy of recording artists while writing and recording follow up albums for Ben Moody and We Are The Fallen.
