Daylight Division is an American band which originated in January 2009. Originally called "Interview", they changed their name in August after being notified to cease using the name.
Marcos Curiel (P.O.D.) and Dave Buckner (Papa Roach) were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and Marcos then called Joe Loeffler (Chevelle), a longtime friend, and asked him if he wanted to jam. Their first practice was in January of 2009. After the band tried out a few singers, Lukas Rossi (Rock Star Supernova) joined in June 2009.
The band released two songs to the public via MySpace on August 25, 2009.
