Originally from New York City, KABANG started out as a cover band 8 years ago. Since then the band has performed over 1400 shows from Maine to Mexico. This included a 5-month house gig at the Pickle Barrel in Killington Vermont, and a 3-month gig at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cancun Mexico. For the past 4 years KABANG has been the house band at Disney?s Pleasure Island in Orlando, Florida. Orlando is where the band is now based.


After building a worldwide fan base. KABANG decided to take things to the next level with the recording of their first all original CD. The CD was recorded in March of 2003 and was produced by Nik Chinboukas (The Misfits) and mastered by Roger Lian (Disturbed, Sum 41). Influenced by some of today?s bands, the CD has captured the Heavier side of KABANG with such songs as "Scream" and "Stress Me Out" but remains melodic with "Listen and "The Mirror".
