I am extremely proud to say that I own an autographed EP by Alex Max Band. I recommend this EP before any full length album by anyone. The Brazilian single from the EP is "Only One". Only One is probably the most memorable song lyrically because of the pushing/uplifitng drive in this pop/r&b/partially electronica tune. Live Again is the catchy upbeat song on the EP and the perfect one to begin with. Rest Of Our Lives is the light catchy ballad that could have been featured the Alex's first album "Camino Palmero" when he was with The Calling. Rest Of Our Lives is not a single but did make the Top ten on Alternative Addiction's Top 20 singles countdown. Track #4, "Coming Home", is undeniable. If you like a mid-tempo pop rock song, then this is definitely for you. The finale of the EP is "Fame", which is my personal favorite but the least catchy. It's a mid-tempo soft rock song with R&B and Electronica in the ingredients. The lyrics are honest and cold hard facts about the title itself, although it is more about the "Fame" getting to a persons head. All and All, the EP is (in 3 words) Outstanding, Mixed (as in no song repeats another, each has it's own different meaning", and Moving. Once again, I recommend this EP to anyone.
