David Bendeth who produced the band's last two studio efforts, We Are Not Alone and Phobia is going to produce Breaking Benjamin's untitled 4th studio album. On their MySpace blog, Breaking Benjamin stated, "We are busy crafting the new material and have several songs ready for the Bendeth production treatment." On November 20, 2008 lead singer Ben Burnley was interviewed on Cage Rattle Radio and stated that he is writing so much for the new album that it is consuming his life. He also stated that he is getting no deadlines or pressure from the label on this album so he is taking his time. He also went on to say he now owns an IPhone which makes it more convenient for him to write down lyrics as he thinks of them. Ben did not divulge any information on the new album other than the fact that the new album could possibly have a song on it similar to "Dream On" by Aerosmith, although he said it will be changed to spread the similarities. There is not yet a release date or title of the new album.

Yeah, there is no official release date for the album yet. Ben is currently still writing material. Until something is officially announced on www.Shallowbay.com, I wouldn't buy into any other sites information. It will be well worth the wait when everything is all said and done, the more time, the better.

Ya, just like the other album was supposed to be out the 30th? I'll wait to hear it from a good source. People need to stop freaking out about this album, each album had progressively gotten SO MUCH BETTER. The more time it takes means that this will just be that much better.
