Fightstar Officially Announce New Single "English Way"

A blog from Fightstars Myspace today read:-

Ladies and Gentlemen,

FIGHTSTAR are very proud to announce they will be releasing a new single - ´The English Way´ on November 3rd 2008. It will be on their new label, Search and Destroy, a record label venture from Raw Power Management (Funeral For A Friend, B4MV, Iron Maiden). This is the debut single from their 3rd Album which will be due out around March 2009.

"The English Way" which is about our broken English society, and how to try to rebuild it, will be released in three formats; on CD, 7" vinyl and as a digital bundle. The b-side tracks feature vocalist Charlie Simpson on drum duty, as drummer Omar Abidi is currently nursing a broken hand. Amongst the b-sides is a song originally written and recorded by songstress Imogen Heap. All extra tracks on the release are as follows:

Colours Bleed (Album Demo)– for single

Drown – 7" vinyl

The English Way (acoustic) – for digital bundle

Hide & Seek (Imogen Heap cover) – digital bundle


On Tuesday 28th October FIGHTSTAR will be headlining the PROUD GALLERIES in London to celebrate the single release! Tickets are only £10 and you can buy them HERE (please note this is an over-18s show, but we are also playing Brixton Academy and Astoria with Feeder so come see us there if you are under 1

Fightstar will also be performing the new song during the Feeder tour and at their own headline dates:
