Florida punks Against Me are set to release their fifth full length White Crosses on June 8th, 2010 through Sire Records. Already gearing up for the new album, the band has released an EP titled I Was a Teenage Anarchist, which is available now through iTunes. White Crosses was produced by veteran producer Butch Vig (Green Day, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins) who also produced Against Me!’s 2007 album New Wave.
The band has revealed two videos in support of the new record. The first, "Rapid Decompression," premiered in March on Spinner.com. Shot by Vern Moen, the video documents a live show at intimate Los Angeles venue Spaceland. The second, "I Was A Teenage Anarchist," is a fan appreciation video- portraying Against Me! fans fervently signing along and dancing to their favorite songs at a live show. The official video for "I Was A Teenage Anarchist" will premiere on Myspace this Friday May 7th. Check out the links below to watch both videos.
The band will also be on tour in support of the record throughout the spring and summer, including a two week stint with Silversun Pickups. See the tour dates below.
