Jonathan Cain Talked About Releasing The Next Journey Album Independently
Jonathan Cain stopped by at Journey?s Back Talk forum last night and answered questions from his fans including me :),first time I got lucky and had my question to Steve Augeri answered and now Cain had the will to hear what I had to say about some old songs that I want to be officially released.
Kaj: Back in the early 90?s you recorded 2 great demo songs called "Ghost of plenty" and "We all want to be loved" that is too good to be left unheard. Do you have any plans on doing something with those songs?
Jonathan: Oh my goodness! I haven?t thought about those songs in awhile. I?ll dig back into my catalog. I am flattered that you know about them. I am going to go through the 100s of songs I have sitting around and sort them out. Jonathan also talked about the upcoming Journey album and said:As far as we know we will be doing most of the recording here at my studio. We probably will release it independently.
Ryan Martin from Hope Republic ( ex Atlantic bands Frankie Machine & The Flying Tigers ) came to the guitar as a pre-teen only because his mother dissuaded him from his first choice for an instrument, the saxophone.
