Los Angeles based Shocknina strive for truth and intensity. Lead singer Nina expresses herself with raw, honest lyrics culled from her rich life experiences. The band?s heavy yet dynamic sound provides power with a unique individual style. Nina and producer/drummer/guitar player Bruce Somers began working together shortly after Somers? former band kidneythieves lost their singer. He met Nina while looking for a new vocalist with whom to collaborate. The group is rounded out by two other former kidneythieves members: bassist Fijt and drummer Sean Sellers.
