There are so many CD’s waiting to be reviewed so I more or less get insane… I know that Wippsson have the same "problem". But no worries folks... There will be a lot of reviews added in the next couple of weeks when it’s summer and holidays. I’m listening to plenty of new music right now and that I wanna share with you all. Here are some albums that all are good and that you can check out on your own if you don’t wanna wait for a proper review, I will add another bunch for you tommorow or so:
.Liam Titcomb – Can’t Let Go (Very nice new album from the Canadian rocker. Produced by Jay Joyce)
.Kevin Does Piano Rock – s/t (with a name like that it can’t go wrong can it??)
.We The Living – Heights Of The Heaven (beautiful David Gray goes Coldplay poprock. Works with Scott Austin who used to be a&r at Maverick)
.Rick Altizer – Scripture Memory (Brilliant new album from Rick. Modern powerpop at it’s best)
.No Second Troy – Narcotic (imagine The Fray and Coldplay mixed with Death Cab For Cutie and Arcade Fire. Just listen to The Garden After Lockout. Phew!!)
.Silverchair – Young Modern (A monster CD. Easily top 5 this year and Silverchairs best album to date)
.Forever In Motion – The Beautiful Unknown (beautiful acousticbased modern pop with rockflirts and strong hooks in the melodies)
.Josh Pyke – Memories And Dust (Cool guy in the same vein as The Finn Brothers, Ben Lee and Starsailor. All spiced with a 70’s edge)
.Roark – Break Of Day (cool singer songwriter with powerpop-traces. Duncan Shiek goes Ben Folds goes Toad The Wet Sprocket)
.Michael Logen – Things I Failed To Mention (Really good album. A great voice combined with a lovely sound. Musically we’re talking about a modern singer songwriter. A mix between Bebo Norman and Amos Lee)
.Barefoot – e.p (soft modern rock. I can admit that it is quite wimpy, but they have qualities that I like)
.Readymade Breakup – Isn’t that what it’s for (If you like maroon 5-ish pop mixed with a rockier edge – this band is worth a check)
.Relient K – Five Score And Seven Years Ago (Their best album to date. )
.Wavorly – Conquering The Fear Of Flight (Nothing unique from this Christian modern rocker outfit. But it is very competent and very well produced and well worth a check)
.Alana Grace (An expensive sony signing that was dropped before it was released. Sounds huge and expensive. Will see the light of day on an independent label soon.
.The Elms – The Chess Hotel (I realized that I haven’t write about this album yet. The Elms is one of the best band on the Christian rockscene. No doubts.
.Heroes & Zeros – A strange Constellation (Norwegian powertrio playing fat produced modern rock with attitude)
.Brian Vander Ark – Within Reach (The man with the golden voice. Lovely personal livealbum)
.Army Of Me – Citizen (I hyped their e.p a while back ago. I will hype their fullength. A lovely piece of work in the Coldplay goes Travis school)
.Bryce Niemiller – Elevator (38 Special goes The Outfield. Well yeah… it works.
.Porcupine Tree – Fear of A Blandk Planet (Porcupine Tree is always delivering. This album is NO exception)
.Joe Hedges – Curvature (Really good soloalbum from former July For Kings singer)
.Miracle Mile – Glow (Miracle Mile = solid as a rock. They always delivers)
.The Year After – The Way To Get Around It (Kaj wrote a review of their E.P and he said it sounds like a mix Splender, vertical Horizon and Third Eye Blind. And well… that’s about it. Here is the fullength album…
.Zack Hexum – The Story So Far (This is an album from 2004 I recently found. Very nice modern singer songwriter pop. He have put up some new stuff from 2007 on his MySpace-profile recently)
.Embassy – The War Of Art (I just have one word to say – G R A V I T Y. The first song on the album! Gehh!! A masterpiece. Well – the rest of the album is kinda good modern rock as well… mah just kiddin. It’s VERY good.)

yeah, I got the same problem, will start adding tons of reviews now when school is over for this period. I might also start working on a new version of melodic.net. There are sections on the site that must and can be better!!!
