Review

The guys in Chickenfoot are hilarious, first they announced they were calling their 2nd album "IV" but later changed it to the official name of "III". And now everybody´s wondering where they can find the album "II"! Expectations on such a supergroup is ofcourse very high if not extremely high but no pressure on Hagar, Satriani, Anthony and Smith. They are just having fun and while doing it, writing some new tunes along with the fun. And with the fun, comes the magic.

Their new album is even better than the first one, and boy did I dig the debut album. It was a monster but they outdone themselves with "III", fans of Van Halen´s "For unlawful carnal knowledge" or Montrose´s "Paper money" will have a blast listening to Chickenfoot´s new album. This is what rocknroll is all about, having a good time with some shit-your-brains-out rock. I mean goddamn, the first 5 tracks areforever classicsand the new great single "Big foot" doesn´t come until track 8! Chad Smith is busy with Red Hot Chilipeppers for the promotion of this album so he is replaced by Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp) on the tour. This is nothing but a masterpiece!

Tracklisting 1. Last Temptation
2. Alright Alright
3. Different Devil
