Review

You could say the Toronto based trio Final Thought´s debut album "What we need" is a box of musical fireworks, a splendid mix of pop punk and atmospheric modern rock. Heavily influenced by Blink 182 and 30 Seconds To Mars, alrighty then.....where to start? Well, the album opens with the super catchy "This party" and the album holds a steady course throughout all 10 tracks like a mega carrier sailing out on the Pacific. This is a very modern sounding production where the band doesn´t hold back, it´s like sitting in a 800 horsepower version of Ford Mustang. It´s rather impressive to hear that the last 3 tracks are just as strong as the first ones, that is pretty rare in these times. A contender for my Top 20 album list of 2011.

Tracklisting 1. This Party
2. I'm Not Your Boyfriend
3. Panic Attack
4. The Very First Time
5. Tell All Your Friends
6. What Would You Say
7. What We Need
8. Till Death Do Us Part
9. Love Of My Life
10. Like Angels We Sing
