Terese Fredenwall is a mighty talented singer/songwriter from Sweden, she was nominated for the Ted Gärdestad scholarship in 2010 and has written songs for Jenny Berggren of Ace of Base. "Not about the songs" is Fredenwall´s 3rd album and the songs are inspired by all the people she met while playing in the streetcorners in Germany, this is a warm and beautiful pop album that goes in the same vein as Lene Marlin and Pernilla Andersson. My favorite tracks are "You should be your friend" that bring thoughts to Vanessa Carlton and "Cant lose you" which sounds like a mix between Laleh and Eva Dahlgren. Real nice!
