Review

Has been a big fan of Royal Bliss since their "After The Chaos II" from 2006 and that also gave them a major deal. Like a more melodic Foo Fighters, they have a style is direct, but also alternative that gives them  "real" and exciting sound. However, their Rob Daiker produced album didn’t for some strange reason secure them another deal. Odd to me since it takes time to build an up rock band and you cannot drop such a great band after “just” one album.
But, the band is back with a fresh new album independently that is as good as could as you could hope for. Did not really know what to expect to be honest and didn’t think that they would top their last album. But "Waiting Out The Storm" is just as good with a great mix of songs like the tougher  "I Got This" and "Monster", but also the beautiful "Crazy". Must also mention "Singing For Our Lives," which Dave Grohl had sacrificed his left hand for have had written! Crazy good and this is just a safe buy if you're straightforward and classic rock with a modern twist!

Did you know that?

Gin Blossoms is slang for the "blossoms" (burst blood capillaries) on the face particularly the nose from drinking too much alcohol - in the late 1800s gin was a popular cheap alcoholic drink.
