Review

Some albums are just so refreshing to listen to, like Rooney frontman Robert Schwartzman´s solo debut "Double Capricorn". He combines the powerpop of Rooney with 70´s disco and even 10cc-esque pop, this is a really entertaining album with a luxurious production and bubblegum pop-like choruses. The single "Second chances" is a fave but I also love "Someone 2 love" that takes you back to E.L.O´s "Xanadu" Soundtrack or why not the Rooney flavored "You don´t have to lie" that is just marvelous. The fab "Just a dream away" bring thoughts to The Cars hit "Drive", great song. Highly recommendable album.
