Soundtrack and rock has over the years has had a good relationship and then also in terms of unreleased material. If you start digging, there's a lot of candy to find and especially if you like melodic rock, and in recent years even metal.
This soundtrack from 2007 does not contain that much and is very dominated by metal bands like Atreyu, As I Lay Dying, In This Moment and Shadows Fall.
However, it contains a super cool track with Loudlion, which is Mutt Lange homage super-group featuring Taylor Locke of Rooney, Allison Robertson of The Donnas, Maclaine Diemer of Bang Camaro and the hero Bleu. The band is a tribute to Def Leppard has not yet released any material on its own and it's not very likely that there will be any either.
They have three tracks on the Balls Of Fury soundtrack and also this cool track called "The Hills Have Eyes", which sounds more Def Leppard than even Def Leppard does. The song is really good and feels like 1985 with a very nice production and an awesome melody.Ok, some will think it's a little questionable, but if you have some distance to it all, it's a really fun idea and it’s a great song to be honest. Let’s hope for a full-length soon!
