Review

Alternative rock band Deccatree is underrated band that unfortunately did not get the lift I had hoped for. The band was signed to Atlantic in 2005 and recorded the great debut, "Battle Of Life", but unfortunately had to release it on their own. However, they have not given up happily and released earlier this year, this Ep called “Wasp In The Grass” consisting of five tracks of highest class. I really like the band's odd and personal style that is very difficult to explain, actually. There are clear influences of the 90 century alternative rock like Smashing Pumpkins and Counting Crows, though in a more modern style pretty close to MrNorth and No Seconds Troy.

It is difficult to find any tracks that stand out on the "Wasp In The Grass" as all are top notch. But if I have to choose two, it will be the marvelous "Release" and the title track.

Just check up at once if you’re into Alternative Rock at its best!

Tracklisting 1. Wasp in the Grass
2. Release
3. Fast Enemies
4. Into the Blacklight
5. Sleepwalker

Did you know that?

Tommy Bolin never liked to change the strings on his guitars and kept them on for a long time instead because he prefered old strings more than new ones.
